How did the confrontation with LAPD develop?
The LAPD department said in a statement Wednesday afternoon that the crash occurred on Highway 134 near the Figueroa exit.
The department reported that three suspects got off the car and fled on foot to Eagle Rock, a neighborhood in northeast Los Angeles, who appeared to have been divided.
Police alleged that while searching for suspects in the backyard of the house, they found a nearby woman who was later identified as Shriner, holding a pistol in the neighbor’s yard.
