Congressional government cooks for reasons to make up for failure: Harrish

Hyderabad: Former Finance Minister T. Harish Rao said Friday that the 2025-26 budget is a promise of lies. Harish Rao, who held a general discussion on the budget at the conference, said Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Malu Bhatti Vikramarka made excuses in his budget speech to cover up the Congressional government’s incompetence in handling the state’s finances.

“The national slowdown also hurts Telangana, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said. The fact is that the state is recording negative growth in many sectors, which has nothing to do with the situation in India,” he said. He said the situation is the result of a mistake in Telangana voters making, which was a mistake in electing Revanth Reddy, which in turn turned into a “terror of the country.”

Harish Rao is also responsible for the government’s failure to mention six guarantees planned to be held to Congress, which was ignored in the budget. Harish Rao quipped: “First, they promised reforms and then reformed the promise,” he added, a statement summarizing how the Congressional administration has performed so far, as well as Barty’s budget speech.

Harish Rao said the state witnessed a 5.5% GST growth rate, compared with 20% for the year, compared with the national average of 10%, with Maharashtra and Karnataka recording 12% and 10.72% respectively. Another indicator of unmet income from the stamp and registration sector is that it earned only Rs 12,867 crore for the estimated Rs 182.44 crore until February. The third example is a decline in vehicle sales, with a negative growth rate of 0.08%, while the Associated Press’s growth rate is 12%, Tamil Nadu 32 and Karnataka 12%.

“There is growth everywhere except Telangana, which proves that the Chief Minister talked about the Ardhika Mandyam (the slowdown) is due to the Buddhist Mandyam (the lack of intelligence) in the Congressional government. Since taking office, Revanth Reddy has been claiming that the state claims Telangana is rising.
