CSR funds help multiple governments. Karnataka minister MB Patil says school says

Karnataka Infrastructure Development Minister MB Patil said on Saturday that several official schools are remodeling due to corporate social responsibility donations from several companies.

He spoke at the foundation stone paving ceremony for building 10 classrooms at a state school in Kit Village. The project is awarded by the Corporate Social Responsibility of the Kempegowda International Airport Foundation. “This contribution from the industry has led to fundamental changes in the education sector,” he said.

The minister said: “Education is crucial to the progress of society. We are working to provide basic facilities such as well-equipped school buildings, separate children’s toilets, quality education, smart classes, etc. to promote quality education for children in rural areas.”

Mr Patil said the foundation will not only work with the government in the construction of the church, but also solve the problem of teacher shortage. “They have agreed to pay the teachers’ salaries, which shows the social concern of the institution,” he said.

According to the grant of corporate social responsibility of the foundation, the cost of developing the project is in Kotyal and Katraal of Babaleshwar constituency, with Rs 25 crore each. As a result, various companies have chosen several villages and are using corporate social responsibility grants to various development projects such as road development, campus construction, smart curriculum, children’s extracurricular activities, sports, a well-equipped library and a separate toilet in children’s schools.

He claimed that nearly 45% of industrial investment promised at the recent global investor conference were in rural areas in northern Karnataka. He said: “Toyota has recruited more than 500 people by Toyota. According to him, the recruitment will also be completed by Foxconn, and 10,000 people will receive jobs in the case of building industries in the field.

Bhaskar Ananda Rao, financial officer of the Kempegowda International Airport Foundation, said the purpose of the foundation is to engage in various social welfare work. The Foundation has developed in various fields including water, education and health. He said the foundation has redeveloped five public schools and renovated 25 schools.

Gram Panchayat president Shobha Khairao, SDMC president Subhas Hipparagi, Kempegowda Airport Foundation general manager Dinesh Kumar, Chandrashekar Biradar of Corporate Associates, CAR manager Pratibha Kulkarni, engineers Ramesh, Jakkappa Yadav, Taluka Panchayat Executive Officer Basavantraya Gowda Biradar, Field Education Officer Pramodini Balolamatti, Village Elders and others were present.
