110 theater artists won the Kandukuri Award today

To encourage theatre art, according to Kandula Durgesh, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Photography, the Kandukuri Award will be awarded from April 16 to 110 individuals, three at the state level, with 107 individuals.

Celebrated as the celebration of the Telugu Theatre Festival, three artists will be selected at the state level, Kandukuri Rangasthala puraskaram and Kandukuri Vishishta Puraskaram (Regional Level Excellence Award) will be awarded to 107 talented artists and technical experts from 26 regions.
He said the winners were selected by a committee led by prominent playwright and screenwriter Burra Sai Madhav, which consists of 11 members. Aradhyula Venkateswara Rao from Tenali, Guntur district, Dr. Kandimalla Sambasiva Rao from Chilakaluripet in Palnadu district and Gurrala Ravi Krishna from Nandyal district were selected as state awards.
The state-level Kandukuri Rangasthala puraskaram has a cash prize of ₹1,00,000, while the regional-level Kandukuri Vishishta Puraskaram receives a cash prize of ₹10,000.
He said the state’s coalition government is keen to promote fine arts and drama and urges artists, theater professionals and technicians to participate in Wednesday’s plan.
