Falaknuma Express Coach Separation

Visakhapatnam: On Tuesday morning, two air-conditioning coaches at Falaknuma Express, two air-conditioning coaches were separated from hundreds of passengers on Tuesday morning and were trapped near Palasa in the Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh for more than two hours.
The incident occurred between the villages of Summadevi and Mandasa, forcing the train to stop immediately. The passenger initially worried about cheating, but learned that it was a coach separation incident and was not injured.
Railway officials and technical teams quickly arrived at the scene and renovated the separate coach after a safety check. About two hours later, the train resumed its journey.
The incident affected railway traffic in the area as a trail was still blocked during recovery operations, resulting in delays in several other trains on the busy route between Brahminpur and Visakhapatnam.
Railway authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the mechanical failure that caused the coach separation. Officials are checking maintenance records and checking for errors in operational protocols.
