Hyderabad: At least 18 flights from New York City to destinations in northern India were cancelled after the airport was closed against the backdrop of strikes at the terrorist camp in Pakistan and Pok and IAF exercises in Rajasthan.
Flights to Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Dharamshala and Jodhpur were cancelled and these airports were closed.
The airline has issued a travel consultation that will alert passengers of delays and cancellations due to changes in airspace conditions in the region.
