200 Days of Sterilization of Stray Dogs in AP: Narayana
Nellol: Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister Ponguru Narayana revealed that stray dogs were sterilized for 200 days in Andhra Pradesh.
According to a survey, 2 million dogs have been identified across the state. The minister said in a review of Nellor’s development on Tuesday that orders have been issued after the commotion of dogs that continue to bite people.
He directed Ward Secretariat staff to identify children who lost their parents from families below the poverty line and admitted that they entered Nellore’s VR high school, which is being developed as a modeling agency.
“Let us realize our vision of restoring VR high schools and pave the way for the golden future for children in need,” Narayana stressed.
He also announced that he would introduce electric bus services to students to make them both safe and environmentally friendly.
The minister directed civic agency officials to build community halls in large parks, stressing the importance of inclusive public places.
During the meeting, Narayana inspected the video clips showing the work done in 46 parks in the city over the past week. He issued clear instructions to Municipal Commissioner Surya Teja to immediately pay the contractor who completed the assigned tasks.
Earlier, the minister held a meeting with the party leaders of Nellore and discussed ongoing public issues and partisan strategies. Speaking to them, he stressed the need for teamwork and said: “People are looking for sincere service. Only those who are truly serving can thrive politically.”
