Infosys’s Job Policy: Narayana Murthy-LED IT’s Key Issues on “System Intervention” Attendance

A few days after the introduction of new works on the national rules, IT Infosys issued the same clarification. The company’s clarification is out of concerns about “system intervention” that require them to work at least 10 days a month in the office.

Last week, Infosys announced that it would require employees to log in from designated offices at least 10 days a month. Any other job on Family Day requires manager intervention and approval.

If someone fails to stick with Infosys’ new work from domestic rules, it will trigger “system intervention.” The term confuses many Infosys employees, who express concerns that their leaves will be deducted if they do not comply with the new work of Infosys Office Rules.

Systematic intervention: information clarification

According to the report, the application used by Infosys employees to mark attendance will no longer approve home requested jobs by default. Instead, Infosys employees must be at their base location for at least 10 days per month.

It further said that any additional work at home will be considered an “exception.” In this case, employees need to submit requests to their respective managers to make these days regular.

However, the report does not specify what will happen if the manager fails to regulate additional work at home.
