Pakistan: Imran Khan says that under “illegal government”, Balochistan should not repeat the 1971 mistake | World News

Pakistan’s jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan said the province of Balochistan is currently under an “illegal government”, adding that the 1971 mistake should not be repeated in Pakistan.

“How can the private government implement any issues on Bal Luzhin Province? As Pakistan and former Prime Minister, I am deeply concerned that the ongoing situation in Bal Luzhin Province is marked by the sharp rise in terrorism.”

“The fire of the state’s violent and illegal arrests on the scene is equally disturbing,” Khan said on X on Wednesday, who has been in jail since August 2023.

The founder leader of the Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Pakistan said that unless the real public representative is brought into the mainstream, their voices are heard sincerely and that the fate of the region is determined by the will of the people and cannot be improved unless the real public representative is brought into the mainstream.

He warned: “Pure power can never solve this problem because it will deepen the crisis and exacerbate further instability.”

Khan, 72, further said: “The puppet government, which was implemented through fraudulent elections in 2024, failed in all respects, and its foreign policy was a complete disaster.”

“We can resolve terrorism by having dialogue with Afghanistan. We have a 2200km border with Afghanistan and peaceful negotiations are the only way forward. During our tense relationship with the Afghan government at the time, we spoke with them directly.

“The policies we implemented over the past three years have successfully eliminated terrorism. However, the adoption of Biden’s policies during our tenure has led to many problems and today the public has suffered the consequences in the form of increasing terrorism,” he said.

Khan said the fact that the Shehbaz Sharif government has not yet carried out any serious diplomatic moves to Afghanistan, and that its foreign minister has not visited once.

Khan further stated that “the main goal of the military-backed government is to jail at all costs because his case has no legal status and will be rejected whenever a case is heard”. “It’s a fixed competition based on a well-planned plan,” he said.

The former cricketer-turned politician said the institutions did not focus on their constitutional responsibilities, but went beyond the situation of suppressing PTI and controlling the media, prisons and courts.

Khan asked: “Adyara Prison is also run by the colonel. The colonel must control the prison.”

Meanwhile, insurgents shot six people on Friday and stopped a bus in Balochistan and unloaded three people from Punjab, Pakistan.

Three people were killed and 17 injured after a bomb exploded near a police car in another terrorist attack in the province. Officials said three people were killed and 17 people were injured.

The two attacks came in two weeks and two weeks after the banned separatist Bal Lu Chin-Christian PLA siege on a train in the Bolan district and killed 26 hostages, including 18 security personnel.
