Chennai: Excitement and expectation have kept the National BJP force optimistic as leaders finalized the visit to Chennai by the coalition Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday.
According to the schedule provided by security officials on Wednesday, Amit Shah will not visit anyone outside the hotel area on Friday or Thursday, when he will be a special flight from New Delhi to New Delhi at 10.15 pm, while BJP functional staff are welcomed at the restaurants of the old Chennai airport.
After driving directly to the hotel, the Union Minister will start deliberations with different crowds on Friday morning and continue discussions until evening before returning to Delhi that night.
A special team of security personnel has arrived in Chennai to monitor arrangements on the ground and will hold special meetings with city police, CISF and other VIP security personnel. The meeting will also decide who is allowed to welcome the Union Minister to the airport and who is allowed to see him.
With the importance of the visit to the state unit, a crazy battle for possessing Tete-e-Tete in Amit Shah has begun, with the next president expected to be completed on Friday or at least on Friday. Therefore, the party’s different camps want to hand over their views to the leader, who will take over the last call.
Since AIADMK Secretary General Edappadi K Palaniswami met with Amit Shah on March 25, followed by state President K Annamalai to Delhi, the political buzz is that the state leadership of the BJP will change and suggests that BJP’s advice is that AIADMK is almost the AIADMK’s advice.
Rumors have been made that the National BJP, which is with Annamarai, cannot work in conjunction with the AIADMK. Despite a strong suggestion that the BJP’s senior command tends to change Annamalai and make it easy for Palaniswami to deal with the party, there is a strong hall within the National BJP that believes Annamalai is the best person to lead the party because he is popular among state youth.
So far, no alternative candidate has been as inspiring as many in the party. Perhaps, Amit Shah will weigh all the suggestions and make a decision.
