Hyderabad: Students from the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Education Institutions Association (TGSWREIS) achieved outstanding results in the Intermediate Board Exam announced Tuesday. First-year students from nine Gurukur colleges and 26 Gurukur colleges achieved 100% grade.
TGSWREIS Secretary Dr. Alagu Varshini said Gurukul students set records that have not been achieved in a decade. She congratulated the students, teachers and principals.
Of the 13,940 second-year students, 11,979 passed, earning 86.16 percent of passes. In the first year, the percentage of passes was 77.48.
Several students earn state rankings in different topics and categories. The second year MPC student finished second with a score of 995, while the first year MPC student also finished second with a score of 468. The BIPC student in the first year also finished second with a score of 438.
