4 SSB Jawans injured as boulder hits Pithoragarh’s Elagad Bridge

When several large boulders fell on the Eragard Bridge on the Tanakpur-Tawaghart Highway, four large boulders fell on the Eragard Bridge in Uttarakhand, while officials including Adi Kailash Yatra pilgrims in the north said four officials were in the soldiers said four Javanese people in the Sashastra bal (SSB) in Sashastra were injured. Deputy Judge Dharchula Manjeet Singh said Jawans were on duty on the Elagad Bridge connecting Nepal and India. He said Mahajan Mohan Ravindra, Ajay Kumar, Suresh Chand and Shivaji Kumar in the incident were injured and were immediately taken to the hospital by SSB Assistant Commander Zubair Ansari.
Ansari said the condition of one of the injured security personnel was crucial, and he was watching at the Dharchula Community Health Center. The other three are out of danger. He said the four security officers were sleeping after closing at 6 p.m.
On both sides of the road, more than 100 vehicles were stranded, including Adi Kailash Yatra pilgrims, locals and security personnel heading to the Indian-Chinese border. SDM Singh said a large amount of debris has accumulated on site and Border Roads Organization (BRO) personnel are trying to remove it.
