4-year-old girl, man killed, is the entrance to the Ram Airport in Manila

An SUV collided with the entrance to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila on Sunday (May 4), killing a 4-year-old girl and a man. According to the Philippine Red Cross, the crash occurred near the departure entrance area of ​​Terminal 1 and left several other injured people who are currently undergoing medical treatment. The driver of the vehicle was detained by police and authorities are investigating the crash.Images and videos shared on social media portray the consequences of chaos, showing injured people on the ground, shattering glass and causing major damage to the SUV that hit the airport entrance.
Airport operator New NAIA Infra Corp. said it understands the concerns raised by the incident, especially when emitting images on social media. They urged the public not to speculate and wait for a verified update, which will be released as soon as it becomes available.
Transport Minister Vince Dizon reported three people were injured and transported to San Juan de Dios Hospital, adding: “Three people were injured and brought to San Juan de Dios Hospital. I think they are OK based on the preliminary report.”
