KCR worries about facing rally: Ponguleti

Warangal: Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy accused BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao of lack of courage to address parliament. “KCR didn’t have the guts to face the conference, which is why he only participated when reading the budget without any discussion,” he said.
Srinivas Reddy accused Chandrashekar Rao of water shortages in the state, claiming that the former BRS government had ignored the Devadula project. He spoke at an event related to the third phase near Devannapet in Dharmasagar Mandal, Hanamkoda District.
Srinivas Reddy added: “The BRS government ignored Devadula and started new projects just for commissions without really focusing on solving problems.”
The minister also spoke about the concerns of the United District of Valangar and pointed out that farmers cultivate more land than expected. He said: “We are working to save farmers’ problems.
Srinivas Reddy noted that if the previous government completed the Devadula project, farmers would not face the crisis they are today.
Srinivas Reddy also poked the former chief minister who had risen costs for the project. He asserted: “KCR’s negligence is the cause of increased drinking water and irrigation problems.
The minister said the Devadula project would benefit from 60,000 to 70,000 acres even in a weightlifting operation.
