6,000 Hanuman Shobha Yatras in Telangana: VHP

Hyderabad: Vishwa Hindu Diocese (VHP) in Telangana announced that Hanuman Shobha Yatras were conducted at 6,000 locations across the state in Hanuman Jayanti on Saturday. VHP national leader and Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust member Ram Vilas Vedanti participated in the city’s parade, Kamalananda Bharati Swamy delivered a speech at Karmanghat Hanuman Temple.
VHP spokesman P. Balaswamy said in a statement that Shobha Yatra began in 2004 at Hanuman Mandir near Gowliguda and is now held throughout the state and even in neighboring countries, reflecting the growing unity of nationalism by Hindus.
Yatra has seen a rare meeting in public between State Department Secretary Bandi Sanjay and Party MP T. Raja Singh, who is said to have been mocked recently by the BJP’s BJP.
