7 cattle check pieces set in Khammam

Nalgonda:Kamam police have established seven inspection pieces on the state and regional borders to curb illegal transport of cattle from Andhra Pradesh to Hyderabad. The move comes after intelligence revealed that some people were using the route of smuggling cattle in the area.

The inspection seating is at the Venkatagiri Cross Road in Paladugu, Wyra Mandal, Basvapuram Cross Road in Hanuman Thanda, Kalluru Mandal, Venkatagiri Cross Road in Khammam Cross Mandal, Mudalipally Tollabhi and Kusumanal and kusumanal and tirumalapem Mandal.

Kamam Police Chief Sunil Dutt said on a videotape with police officers that 24/7 surveillance will be conducted on these inspectors. Police officers and staff from the livestock department have been deployed to monitor the operation.

Special inspection pieces are designed to prevent any legal and order problems caused by illegal transportation. Police warned that strict litigation and legal cases targeting participants.

The Commissioner also directed officials to strengthen surveillance before Bakrid next month. He warned that anyone who spreads community disharmony through social media posts will take harsh action. A special monitoring unit has been formed to identify and target such criminals.
