A 7-year-old girl died after falling in Navaikkulam in the city on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Rizwana from Kudavoor near Nawakran. According to police, the incident occurred around 10 a.m. on Sunday. She is believed to have heard a rupture of a branch to save the lives of her young siblings playing nearby. Although she was taken to the hospital, her life could not be saved.
