The Director General of the Telangana Police (DGP) issued an order on Monday (May 19) and adjusted the 77 deputy police officers of the state’s deputy police chief (DSP).
In a major change, N. Venkata Swamy, former ACP, the Central Crime Station (CCS) Ramagundam has been appointed as the Sub-Section Police (SDPO) of Jagtial, replacing D. Raghuchander, who will now serve in the intelligence department. P. Naresh Reddy has moved from intelligence to ACP in Balanagar. Similarly, ch. Sreedhar from intelligence will be responsible for ACP, Madhapur will replace CH. Sreekanth has been reassigned to ACP, chikkadpally.
Other officials who played Rejig include L. Ramesh Kumar, Chikkadpally, of the ACP, who has been asked to report to the DGP’s office. Meanwhile, Waheeduddin and P. Sadaiah MS Saidaiah and P. Sadaiah will take over Mahankali, Transport VI (South District) and Warangal CCS (Crime), respectively.
The round of posts also includes new assignments for officials waiting to be placed. It is worth noting that DSP Neti Srinivas has been released as SDPO, Parigi, Vikarabad and E. Ravi Kiran Reddy, has been released as ACP, Kukatpally.
