Ten days after the incident, police in the Southeast Division followed a 29-year-old taxi driver who was running late on April 3 in Suddaguntepalya.
The defendant, known as Santosh D., worked as a taxi driver in Brookefield and lived with his mother and younger brother in Gulbarga Colony in Tilaknagar. Police said the defendant harassed one of the girls and fled the scene. The police made it Suo Motu Based on the situation of CCTV camera lens.
