Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is the latest movie personality. When sharing AI-generated photos with fans, he jumps on the Ghibli Image Gallery every week when sharing AI-generated photos with fans.
Bachchan posted several of the photos on his official blog along with his fans of Juhu Residence Jalsa. After other movie stars like Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Arjun Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt, the images were recreated using Chatgpt’s new features.
“And Ghibli…invade the world…in the reality of the communication field…and the production of ‘scroll’…another concept that is popular now…a concept that needs attention…” wrote the 82-year-old Screen Icon, an active social media user and tech enthusiast.
While many users were happy to share photos of their studio’s Gibley Art Edition on social media, a number of netizens called the AI-generated images a creative insult to legendary Japanese film producer Hayao Miyazaki, one of the co-founders of the animation studio.
Opponents also shared a clip from an old interview by Hayao Miyazaki, who expressed his opinion on the AI-generated animation. “I’m totally disgusted. If you really want to make something creepy, you can keep moving forward. I never want to incorporate this technology into my work. I strongly feel that it’s an insult to life itself.”
Last week, famous Bollywood studios such as Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock movies and Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment also joined the trend by sharing posters and images of Ghibli-style films. (Input with PTI)
