The homeowner reminded the police control room at around 5.30 p.m. Thursday. The woman and her husband moved to Bangalore last month and lived in an apartment in the village of Doddakammanahalli, a confined Hulimayu police station.
Her body was found thrown in a suitcase. She said she had a stab wound on her body. She added: “The defendant was detained in Pune and taken to Bangalore. The motive for the murder will be determined after he is questioned.”
The official responded to the report that the defendant had informed his wife’s parents to kill her, and the official said: “The matter is under investigation and the details need to be verified.” Police said the woman received a bachelor’s degree in mass media and her husband worked with a private company.
