Former Minister D. Jayakumar denied reports on social media on Monday that he would withdraw from the AIADMK if the party formed an alliance with the BJP. He said at an event that fake news had spread and that he had talked about resigning from AIADMK if he had formed an alliance with the BJP. Mr Jayakumar said he and his family “never knocked on anyone’s door” to get the post.
