Swiggy launches Pyng app for professional services: Books Health Experts, Financial Advisors and more about iOS, Android

Food delivery platform Swiggy has launched Pyng, marking its entry into the professional services market. Swiggy’s Pyng is a standalone AI-driven application that provides users with more than 100 professional verification services.

Swiggy’s goal is to join more than 10,000 professionals through Pyng. Users can find experts in areas such as health, wellness, finance, education, travel and activities. Some professionals include yoga instructors, tax planners, career consultants, DJs, makeup artists, and more. The app is currently available in Bangalore for iOS and Android.

According to Swiggy, Pyng is more than just a search bar, and users can access professional services using conversation AI.

Three standalone apps for Swiggy

Nandan Reddy, co-founder and head of innovation at Swiggy, said of the new launch: “Together with Pyng, we provide a reliable, spam-free platform where users can connect with trusted experts. By curating the demand for these specialized products, Pyng, Pyng not only enables consumers to achieve stable experts, but also enables them to achieve good experts, thus enabling them to achieve good experts.

In January, Swiggy announced a shift from its unified application strategy and plans to launch three standalone applications. Pyng is part of three standalone apps Swiggy has launched this year. The program plans to launch a separate application in Bengaluru’s selected PIN code for its grocery delivery services Instamart, Pyng – Professional Services Market and a 15-minute food delivery application called SNACC.

Competitors Swiggy and Zomato have followed different application strategies before. Zomato has launched a separate app for different use cases such as food delivery, Blinkit (fast business) and region (events and catering), but Swiggy says it has benefited from all services in a single app. However, Swiggy’s move to introduce separate applications is similar to Zomato’s strategy.
