Neelu Analjit Singh reclassified as public shareholders of Max Financial

New Delhi, April 15 (PTI) Max Financial Services said on Tuesday that Neelu Analjit Singh, the ex-wife of Max Group founder and chairman Analjit Singh, has requested that his holdings in financial services companies be changed from the initiating category to the public category.

Max Financial Services said in a regulatory filing that a request received from Neelu Analjit Singh, a “sponsor and promoter group” holding 1,00,000 shares, reclassified it from the “promoter and promoter group” into the “public” category, but complies with the approval of the relevant stock exchange.

In January, Max Group founder and chairman Analjit Singh and his estranged wife Neelu Singh reached a global settlement, ending nearly three years of dispute.

Therefore, all lawsuits/petitions filed in the Delhi High Court and NCLT against Max Ventures Investment Holdings Private Limited, its directors and Analjit Singh were properly withdrawn and disposed of.

“According to the reclassified board approval obtained from Neelu Analu’s request, based on the January 13, 2025 settlement agreement, which was executed between Neelu Analjit Singh and Analjit Singh to isolate their assets to confirm the company’s ongoing control and together with Analjit Singhh and other existing promoters, the company’s ongoing control was confirmed.

It said Neelu Analjit Singh is no longer classified as an “spouse” of Analjit Singh, as their marriage was dissolved by an order from the Patiala House court dated February 19, 2025.

Meanwhile, after the three-year term ended, Amrit Pal Singh resigned as chief financial officer of Max Financial Services.

Amrit Pal Singh remains the chief financial officer of Axis Max Max Life Insurance Limited, a subsidiary of Max Financial Services.

The Board has appointed Nishant Kumar Gehlawat as Chief Financial Officer of Max Financial Services, effective May 1, 2025.

Gehlawat has been associated with Max Group since 2007 and has experience managing finance, corporate development, finance and investor relations Max.
