State prepares Saraswati Pushkaralu in Kaleshwaram

Hyderabad: From May 15, the government has made extensive arrangements for Saraswati Pushkaralu in Karshwaram. Pushkaralu will be held in Triveni Sangamam, Godavari, Pranahita and Suthterranean Saraswati.
As part of the arrangement, Industry Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu and Endowments Minister Konda Surekha launched the Saraswathi Pushkar App and Web Portal.
Sridhar Babu said the government had built a tent city for Pushkaralu for the first time and built a 17-foot-tall statue of the goddess Saraswati on the banks of Kaleshwaram.
He said the government expects up to 100,000 pilgrims to swim in Sangamam every day and visit the Sri Kaleshwara Mukteswara Swamy Temple.
Kentka said the government has spent Rs 35 crore to build a wider mountain range, named after the goddess Saraswati and engaged in other development works. A 100-room hotel and dormitory building has been built, and a 100-room tent will be provided to devotees during Pushkaralu.
She said the bath room ghats, dressing locker room, OHSR water tank, Pinda Pradhaan Mandapam, toilets and other facilities were already in the Temple City. Surekha directed officials to start free phone numbers to provide all relevant information to devotees.
Chief Secretary Shailaja Ramayyar (Endowment) said the mobile app and web portal will provide all information on the planning schedule of Temple City and Tent City in Temple and Ghate, accommodation facilities, parking facilities, parking lots and medical facilities.
Seers from various Mutts took a bath every day during Pushkaralu.
