Nani says

Vijayawada: Former Minister Perni Venkataramaiah alias Nani reiterated on Tuesday the firm support of YSR Congress for the Muslim community to file a petition to the WAQF amendment in the Supreme Court.
He slammed them in the TD-JANA SENA-BJP coalition, directly responsible for the passage of the parliamentary bill. He noted that the alliance supports legislation, but that the alliance partners are now hypocrites who pass the protests against the bill.
Nani criticized the Telugu Party’s double standards. He asked the coalition leadership whether the WAQF bill could be passed without the votes of TD and Jana Sena MP, the leader who helped Narendra Modi as prime minister.
The former minister protested discrimination against religious sites. He stressed that although non-Hindus are prohibited from entering the temple committee, it is unjust and unacceptable to appoint non-Muslims to the WAQF board under the Amendment Act.
Nani dared Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh to propose a resolution to support the WAQF bill at the conference if they really stick to it.
The former minister condemned the irresponsible and unfortunate politics that the coalition government is playing, but despite a 2% increase in tax revenue and a 42.78% decline in capital investment, the coalition government paradoxically shows that the state holds second place in the GSDP rankings.
Nani stressed that this only shows that the current government is ready to take on huge debts.
