Telangana Pradesh Congressional Committee (TPCC) working chairman and former MLA T. Jayaprakash Reddy, who showed historical photos of the palatial residence owned by the Nehru family before India’s independence, thought it was ridiculous that the family was born from privilege and accused them of corrupt people.

Mr Reddy said the house symbolized the legacy of sacrifice and the Nehru family contributed to India’s struggle for freedom. He said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) claimed that Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi stole money from their organization (Parliament) and framed their despair in the case for the BJP’s despair.

He spoke at Dharna held by Sangareddy to the Enforcement Bureau, including the names of Ms. Sonia Gandhi and Mr. Rahul Gandhi in the Young Indian Pioneer Case. He refuted Ed’s allegations as ridiculous and unfounded, accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Secretary Amit Shah of orchestrating the “witch hunt” of the Nehru-Gandhi family.

Congress leaders say the case desperately tries to escalate public attention from the demand for a national caste survey by Mr Rahul Gandhi — a move seen as a challenge to the BJP’s political narrative. He claimed Mr. Modi was afraid of the growing influence of Rahul Gandhi, especially on issues of social justice such as the caste census. Instead of solving the problem, Mr. Modi and Mr. Shah used central institutions to damage their opponents. He asserted that India would not forgive Mr. Modi for these “stupid” allegations, warning the public about opposition to the BJP.
