India is a country known for its unity of diversity. Uttar Pradesh is the largest state in terms of Muslim population. But nearly 97% of the population of Union Territory (UT) follows Islam. This means that 97 out of every 100 people are Muslims. According to the 2011 census, the union territory is Lakshadweep, with a total population of only 64,473. Of these, 62,268 are Muslims, accounting for 96.58% of the population.
