A crane collapsed on Friday evening (April 18, 2025) at a construction site at a hospital building in Muralidhar Bagh, Hyderabad in strong winds. Police said a woman’s security officer was injured and her property damage was small.
The incident was reportedly in a block of the Arogya hospital premises, which was reportedly purchased by a nursing hospital. The construction project was underway when the accident occurred.
Abids Police Detective Inspector K. Narasimha said strong winds swept through the area, affecting the crane’s moment before the crane collapsed and fell into the third floor of the structure’s built part. The collapsed force damaged the part on the third floor and some equipment inside the building. No casualties. A case was booked and an investigation was underway to determine what led to the accident.
