Vaibhav Suryavanshi became the youngest IPL first in the IPL at the age of 14. This is the youngest player ever
Vaibhav Suryavanshi, 14, replaced injured captain Sanju Samson in the Rajasthan Royals’ Super Giants on Saturday night as the youngest player to make his debut in the Indian Premier League.
Born in 2011, Suryavanshi achieved a unique milestone by becoming the first IPL player born after the 2008 Championship.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi, just 14 years old, has become one of the youngest players in an IPL contract, joining the Rajasthan Royals after fighting against the Delhi Capitals. The left-handed opener made headlines during the 2024 U-19 Asian Cup, with his name only 1 T20 appearing, where he scored 13 runs with a strike rate of over 200.

Chennai Super Kings picked up 18-year-old Tamil Nadu Batter C Andre Siddharth, known for his aggressive stroke. While he hasn’t made his debut on the T20 yet, Siddharth’s Ranji Trophy season has been excellent, earning more than 600 runs in just eight games. Kwena Maphaka
South African speed sensitivity Kwena Maphaka, 18, will return to the IPL with Rajasthan Royals. Maphaka is an outstanding performance in the 2024 U-19 World Cup, always clocking at 150 kmph and has already stood out in international cricket, playing 5 T20IS, two ODIs and a Test match in South Africa. He has previously appeared in the IPL of Mumbai Indians.

Royal Challenger Bengaluru signed 19-year-old top batsman Swastik Chikara. Chikara is known for his calming pressure and has shown his potential in domestic leagues and age-class cricket. He has played in four T20 games so far and is hoping to leave his mark on his debut IPL season.

Musheer Khan, the younger brother of Indian cricketer Sarfaraz Khan, has been kidnapped by the Punjab Kings. The 20-year-old all-around player played a major role in the 2024 U-19 World Cup victory in India and has achieved a good reputation in domestic cricket. In just nine first-class games, Mushar has smashed three centuries, including one hundred.
