An official said on Saturday (April 19, 2025) that twelve Maoist dumps, including a room similar to a concrete slab, were revealed and destroyed by police on a hill in the Chajapur region.

The official said the operation was made by the COBRA Battalion of the 208th Battalion (Commands’ COMMOLO BATTALION Propaganda Operation), an elite CRPF unit, which was owned by its Jeedpalli camp.

“One of the hiding places is like a 160-square-foot bunker. There is a concrete slab on it. Six solar panels, two Maoist uniforms, two ceiling fans and other materials were recycled from there,” he said.

A press release said that it had been found by security forces in the Komatpalli and Tumrel forests in the region.

It added that security forces in the area are conducting ongoing patrols and searches.
