Mrs. Dame Prue Leith said she “didn’t stay at her age longer” when she relied on her beloved husband John Playfair for support.
The great British baking judge, 85, admits she is not as savvy as she used to and is “very close” to the need for caregivers to help her busy schedule.
Thankfully, this is her beloved husband, 77, who married in 2016, to help them, and Pru said she wants to cherish every moment with him.

“So if we were going to shoot abroad, or like next week, we were going to New York because I had to promote the baking show in the United States,”
“I was old enough at that time to have my agent say, “I’m sorry, but she had to call her husband because she was 85 and she needed someone to carry a bag.” She didn’t say much “she needed a caregiver”, but was very close. ”
Dame Prue Leith, 85, once said she was frankly admitting that she had “no longer” in her age because she leaned against the age of 71.

She praised John and said, “One of the wonderful things about him is that he has no self at all and he is not threatening to the fact that I am higher than him,” she said.
“When I introduce him [to people] He always just said, “I am the carrier of the handbag, I am her driver”.
Last year, Prue and John shared the details of the beginning of their relationship during a wonderful moment that appeared together in a loose woman.
The chef, who married her first husband nearly 30 years before his death in 2002, revealed that she ran wildly at the first meeting at the dinner party.
Prue tells her how to be invited to a dinner party at a friend’s house, but when she gets there there are two men and two women, making her feel like gooseberry.
TV celebrity said she made the excuse to leave her friend’s dinner as quickly as possible and didn’t expect what would happen next.
Prue revealed that the next day, John admitted that he immediately “knows that he was that” and therefore showed up at her doorstep.
The couple asked about the way the group came across, and John joked mischievously on the dating app Tinder.

Prue reveals the true story: “No, we met boredom at a friend’s house. I came back from Yorkshire and she said I needed to attend this dinner so I went with her and there were two boys and two girls with champagne…
“It’s an obvious setting, he’s there, obviously, I just want to leave. The next day, John appeared at my doorstep.
John added sweetly, “I’m new, she’s alone,” Prue quipped, “I’ll pay him to say so.”
Pru also said her husband was inspired by some of her compelling outfits: “Color is affected by you, we have been together for 12 years. I asked John for advice, and he always said no, it wasn’t bigger enough for the earrings or more colors.
‘he [John] Propel me. It’s great because most women who hit 50 things have to wear grey, I think you need color.
When asked about their Valentine’s Day plans, John Coyly said he “can’t tell them.”
Prue has previously spoken about her 13-year relationship with her late first husband, Rayne Kruger.
After she fell in love with her mother’s best friend’s husband, she revealed how their long-term marriage began.
Speaking about the decision to speak out in the memoir, the TV star said she didn’t want to be “cautious” about her personal life, adding: “If there’s something in your life, you’re not totally proud of it, but they’ll be interesting to the readers and you should try to address them.

Eventually, Rayne leaves his 17-year-old wife and starts a family of life and Prue. They have a son, Danny, and daughter, Lee Dai.
The couple kept close friends with Nan, who forgave their affair, and Prue called her “an extraordinary woman.”
