S. Sathish, member of the State Council of the Communist Party of India [CPI(M)]Electioned as Secretary of the Ernakulam Region.
He replaced CN Mohanan, who was recently elected to the National Secretariat. Mr. Sasish is currently the Vice-Chairman of the State Youth Welfare Commission.
The party’s meeting was held in the presence of Secretary of State MV Govindan and member of the Central Committee P. Rajeeve, and also elected a 12-member regional secretariat. In addition to some members of the National Secretariat, members of the organization’s state committee were also present.
State Council member M. Anilkumar presided over.
Mr. Sathish also served as state president and national vice president of the Democratic Youth Federation of India.
