Udhayanidhi Stalin accuses Hindi of imposing education policies in Chennai behind NEET

State Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin alleged on Sunday that the entire idea behind the implementation of a three-language policy, NEET and new education policy was to “impose” Hindi in Tamil Nadu. He called on students to be cautious about the “conspiracy” of the centre, and he attacked the coalition government because Neet (national qualifications and admissions exam) and trilingual policies posed dangers to the education system in Tamil Nadu.
“You should understand the dangers that these conspiracies and education centres have. You should realize that if you stand firmly on your own, our enemies will not be able to win our victory.” Deputy CM commented after the establishment of a 1,000-seat auditorium here at Nandanam Arts College, which was established here for a spending of Rs 480 crore. The auditorium was appointed as the “Kalaignar Kalaiarangam” of former CM M Karunanidhi.
He recalled that the college was of great significance, just as students who belonged to educational institutions protested in 1986 when the state “imposed” Hindi. Udhayanidhi mentioned the comments on Hindi by the opposition leader and DMK patriarch Karunanidhi, who was then the opposition leader, said that this was still relevant.
