Karimnagar: To integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into education, Hindi teacher Shareef Ahmed has gained wide recognition for his innovative teaching methods at Mallapur ZP High School in Thimmapur Mandal, Karimnagar area.
In India – The safe return of original astronaut Sunita Williams to Earth, Shareef created an interactive, AI-powered video to teach the 11th lesson of the ninth grade Hindi textbook, which focuses on Williams’s journey to space.
Through AI technology, Shareef transforms parts of the course into dynamic interview-style videos in which a young girl actually interacts with Sunita Williams, making the topic more engaging and student-related. His approach not only simplifies complex concepts related to space, but also introduces students to the real-life applications of AI and space exploration.
This initiative is part of Shareef’s broad efforts to enable rural schooling by leveraging emerging technologies. His work has been widely praised for demonstrating AI’s potential to teach in public schools and make the curriculum more interactive and immersive.
Through creative use of technology, Shareef is helping students gain a deeper understanding of space exploration while promoting appreciation for the role of AI in modern education.
