Minister asks officials to ensure adequate drinking water is provided in the Eluru area

Kakinada: Eluru District Chief and Minister of Civil Supplies Nadendla Manohar has asked officials to ensure proper drinking water supply in the region this summer.
He said that if necessary, new holes should be laid and old ones should be repaired. If necessary, drinking water should be provided through tankers for severely problematic areas. The construction of the canal has been extended until April 25 to fully fill the drinking water tank.
Manohar held a regional review meeting with Housing Minister Pardha Saradhi on Monday in Eluru. He asked officials to provide sand stocks in each constituency to speed up development work in the area.
He said that given the sand requirements for the current summer and the upcoming monsoon season, each stock should provide 10,000 tons of sand. He said the MGNREG people in the area were given about 1.6 million working days and required officials to pay wages to workers within a week.
He suggested that officials should take measures to establish industrial parks. In terms of average income per capita income at the state level, everyone should work hard to keep the area third.
Housing Minister Parthasaradhi said officials should allow soil to balance housing locations and there should be no obstacles to housing beneficiaries.
