Workshop emphasizes the need for strong fire safety protocols in the industrial sector in Telangana

The National Security Council of Telangana Chapter (NSC) and the factory and the Telangana government’s technical cooperation organization held a one-day workshop on “Fire Prevention and Mitigation of Factory Fire and Mitigation of Factory Fire” at the KLN Prasad Auditorium on Monday. The workshop saw the participation of approximately 360 representatives from various factories in Telangana.
At the party, B. Rajagopala Rao, the Telangana government and chairman of the NSC Telangana chapter, emphasized the growing concern about fire incidents not only in an industrial environment, but also across residential complexes, commercial buildings, hotels, hotels, shopping malls, schools and hospitals and hospitals. He noted that while Telangana has locations for several oil, explosive, pharmaceutical and chemical units, with relatively low factory fire rates compared to other states, there is no room for complacency.
“Each stage from the procurement of materials to disposal must include clear fire safety protocols,” he said. He also urged factory managers to take measures such as issuing a heat work permit, maintaining a good housekeeper, ensuring multiple exits and ventilation, implementing grounding and bonding systems and reducing hazardous inventory. He stressed the role of mutual assistance agreements between neighboring factories in effective management of fire emergencies.
Y. Mohan Babu, the Joint Attorney General of the Factory, reiterated the industry’s demand to identify and eliminate fire hazards at the source, highlighting the role of active management in ensuring the safety of workers and workplaces.
