ASI Record 15 Satavahana Inscription

Vijayawada: Archaeological surveys of the branch of the inscription in India will occupy 15 new inscriptions of the Satavahana dynasty in the Gundaram Reserve Forest area of Peddapalli in Telangana state.
The Telangana Forest Department has allowed the acceptance of new inscriptions, ASI authorities said.
The inscription from the first century BC was completed during the reign of Kumara Hakusiri, Prince of Satavahana. He ruled the Asmaka region, one of the 16 Mahajanapadas.
“With the cooperation of the Ministry of Forests, we will conduct a second investigation in the reserve forest area to replicate the new inscriptions,” said Munirathnam Reddy, director of the ASI inscription.
