Starmer said the free school breakfast club will provide parents with “breathing space”.

“They mean that parents will no longer be tied up by rigid school hours and have the breathing space needed to rush in the morning, attend work meetings and doctors dates or run errands. Crucially, this means better opportunities for children.”
