Adilabad’s 44°C makes it the hottest in Telangana; until April 25 heatwave alarm

Telangana soared over 40°C marks in all 33 regions on Monday (April 21, 2025). According to the Telangana Development Program Association (TGDPS), Adilabad became the hottest location in the state, recording a maximum temperature of 44°C.

Adilabad’s heels were closed at 43.9°C (Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Jagtial and Jogulamba gadwal at 43.8°C), while Mancherial and Nizamabad recorded at 43.7°C. Kamareddy recorded 43.6°C and then at Karimnagar and Rajanna Sircilla and Rajanna Sircilla and Peddapalli at 43.4°C. The remaining 23 regions reported temperatures between 40°C and 43°C.

Soaring calories have neither urban nor semi-urban areas. Medchal Malkajgiri reports a maximum temperature of 42.4°C, while Hyderabad is stuffy at 41.6°C.

Heat Wave Alert

In view of the rising temperature, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heat wave warning to several regions (23 April 2025) to Friday (25 April 2025). Heatwave conditions may prevail in Adilabad, Kumulam Bem Asifabad, Manchester Rialia and Neilmar areas on Wednesday.

The warning extends to April 24 including Nizamabad and Jagtial, and continues to the same area on April 25.
