Manjunath, a resident of Shivamogga, was one of the tourists who died in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam and Kashmir on Tuesday (April 22, 2025). Manjunath goes to J&K with his wife Pavithra and their children. Wife and children are safe.
The Shivamogga Regional Government received information about the death. Shivamogga SP GK Mithun Kumar tells Hindu He and Deputy Commissioner Gurudatta Hegade remain in touch with the officers.
“Manjunath died on the spot. We are coordinating with the officers and expect the body to be taken to Srinagar and then airlifted,” SP said.
