India and CSK all-around Shivam Dube announces 70,000 rupees for 10 budding athletes

India’s all-round Shivam Dube in a heart-warming gesture promised on Tuesday to offer Rs 70,000 and Rs 70,000 per person from Tamil Nadu. Dube, who plays for the Chennai Super Kings, made a touching decision on the awards and scholarship functions of the Tamil Nadu Sports Journalists Association.

The Dube’s award is a Rs 30,000 scholarship provided by TNSJA.

“When I went from the team hotel to this location, Dr. Baba (TNCA Secretary) told me that it was to help some young people work here. So it was encouraging for all young athletes,” Dube said during the function, and CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan also participated in the function.
The cricketer, who was once part of the Indian T20 World Cup 2024 winning roster, said that such awards, no matter how many natures, would be the inspiration for young athletes to bring the crown to the country.

“These little things give them an extra motivation to work harder and bring pride to the country. I’ve witnessed such initiatives in Mumbai, but I’m not sure other states. I’ll definitely tell other states to start such programs as well.


Dube added: “That 30,000 rupees seems to be a small amount, but it is encouraged. Every cent and every award really matters when you are young.” The talents to receive the scholarship are: PB Abhinandh (to Taiwanese tennis), KS Vhenisa Sree (archery), Muthumeena Vellasami (Para Athletics) (Shameena Riaz (Shameena Riaz), Shameena Riaz (Squash), Jayant RK, S Nandhana (snandhana) Takkshanth (chess).
