Gangaram Block of Mahabubabad region has been ranked in the Grassational Blocks Program (ABP) in the Delta ranking and will receive an incentive of Rs 3 crore.
Located in one of the state’s most lagging areas, Gangaram Block earned the highest spot in the latest delta rankings released by Niti Aayog in the latest delta rankings released by Niti Aayog. Gangaram Block will receive an additional allocation of Rs 3 crore as part of the Grassational Blocks Program (ABP) to further enhance its development plan. Other neighborhoods that will benefit from the scheme include Kannaigudem Block in Mulugu area, which will receive Rs 2 crore; Narva Block in Narayanpet area will receive Rs 15 crore; Pembi Block in Nirmal area will receive Rs 1 crore. To take advantage of these incentives, action/project proposal plans must be submitted by May 25, 2025.
The Grassational Blocks Program (ABP) was launched on January 7, 2023, focusing on improving governance to improve the quality of life of citizens in the country’s most difficult and relatively underdeveloped neighborhoods. The program’s strategy revolves around integrating existing programs, defining results, and vigilantly monitoring progress through 40 key performance indicators (KPIs) across five sectors – health and nutrition, education, agriculture and allies, infrastructure and social development.
Mahabubad area collector Adwait Kumar Singh congratulated the neighborhood officials on their achievements, saying: “This is a proud moment for the Mahabubabad District. I have issued clear guidance to ensure the strategic and transparent use of these funds to ensure alignment with the five key themes and program metrics under the plan.”
ABP H. srinath added that the barrier will focus on achieving complete results in maternal and parenting, eradication of tuberculosis and noncommunicable diseases screening, improves the NITI Aayog indicators that provide farmers with quality education and leverages malnutrition among Anganwadi workers and the growth of child care and child care.
Tiriyani Block of Kumuram Bheem Asifabad District won the highest spot in the ABP’s first delta ranking announced in December 2023.
