Adilabad: Kotapalli police visited Atram Lachanna, a senior Maoist leader who served as secretary of the departmental committee of the Chhattisgarh Maoist party in the central region and expanded support on Tuesday at the residence in Parupalli village of Kotapalli Mandal in the Manchester Riyal region.
Led by Chennur rural CI Sudhakar and Si Rajender, the police team donated the necessary goods and clothing to Lachanna’s family as a humanitarian gesture. CI Sudhakar called on Lachanna to abandon violence and join the mainstream and ensure that the state government will expand its recovery programme if it surrenders to the police.
