In opposition from the Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray Sena faction, Sharad Pawar defended the discussions, stressing that they were trying to solve “people’s problems.” He clarified that cooperation on issues such as sugarcane production and agriculture requires people involved in the government, which makes these meetings crucial. Pawar believes that after years of working in the industry, solutions cannot be achieved alone and it is necessary to interact with the government.

Just a day ago, Sharad and Ajit Pawar met to discuss the implementation of AI in agriculture and sugar industries, prompting the Sena (UBT) faction to be criticized. Sanjay Raut from UBT questioned the frequency of this interaction, pointing out that there were no similar meetings between UBT and EKNATH SHINDE factions.

Ajit’s wife Sunetra Pawar and Rajya Sabha MP also met with Sharad Pawar at a meeting of Vidya Pratisthan, an educational institution that connects with families. Yugendra Pawar, Sharad Pawar’s eldest nephew and members of the group stressed that the family relationship remained intact despite political divisions, stressing his respect for his long-term connections to the uncle, Ajit and Pawar families. He noted that political differences would not eliminate years of shared history, suggesting that Ajit’s rebellion would not change their mutual respect and family bonds.
