Fir’s controversial remarks on these two parts at Anurag Kashyap in Raipur

Anurag Kashyap apologized for his remarks Tuesday, saying that he crossed the border by using “abusive language” when answering someone in anger and admitted that his speech to the entire Brahmin community was terrible.

A Raipur police registered film producer Anurag Kashyap, an official said Tuesday. The case is based on a complaint from Raipur-based Pandit Neelkanth Tripathi, the State Vice President and Chhattisgarh are responsible for a complaint from Rashtriya Brahman Mahasangh (Bharat), registered late Monday at the City Kotwali Police Station.

Recently, Kashyap made caste remarks about the Brahmin community on his social media platform, which was extremely insulting and unconscious. The official quoted the complaint as saying that the sentence hurts the emotions of the Brahmin community and poses a threat to social harmony.

Kashyap is booked on Section 196 (promoting hatred among different groups on the grounds of religion, race, place of birth, place of residence, language, etc.) and 302 (speaking, intentionally intended to hurt anyone’s religious feelings), he said.

Kashyap apologized for his remarks Tuesday, saying he used “abuseful language” to cross the border when answering someone in anger. The director has been a centre of major controversy in his ruthless comments on the Brahmin community, acknowledging that he “talks about the entire community.”

“There are many people in the (Brahman) community who still contribute a lot in my life. Today, they are all hurt by me, and my family is hurt by me. Many of the intellectuals I respect are hurt by my anger and the way they speak.” Kashyap, who criticized the protests in the Brahman community against the release of the censorship troubles faced by the Hindi film Phule and caste-based films, admitted that he deviated from his own “view” from the “view” because of his choice of speech.

He added: “I sincerely apologize to this community, and I don’t want to say that, but wrote it out in anger in response to someone’s cheap comments. I apologize to all my friends, my family and (Brahmins) for their speech and abused language.” The filmmaker said he will work on his anger to avoid similar situations in the future. “If I have to talk about this, I will use the right words.
