Sketch of three terrorists released by security agencies

Security agencies have released sketches of three suspected terrorists believed to have been involved in the brutal Pahargam attack, claiming the lives of at least 28 tourists.

Security agencies released sketches of three men suspected of participating in the terrorist attack that killed 26 people, mainly tourists, near Pahalgam in southern Kashmir.

Officials said the three Pakistanis were Asif Foggy, Suleiman Shah and Abu Talha. They have the code names – Moosa, Yunus and Asif – and are involved in the horror-related incidents of Poonch. They said the sketch was prepared with the help of the survivors.

From the black and white pencil sketches, they seem young and have beards. The Resistance Front (TRF) is a shadow costume of Pakistan’s banned Rashkar E-Taiba terrorist group, claiming to be responsible for the attack on Tuesday afternoon.

Condolences and responses from around the world continue to pour in the following recent terrorist attacks in Jamu and Anantnag areas in Kashmir. In response to international voices, U.S. President Donald Trump extended his “full support” from the United States and conveyed his “deepest sympathy for India” after the tragedy.

Pakistan also expressed concern about the loss of innocent lives in the attack on Wednesday. “We are concerned about the death of an attack in the illegally occupied Anantnag area in India, illegally occupying Jamu and Kashmir,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Shafqat Khan said in response to media questions about the incident.

He further said: “We pay tribute to the recent years of the deceased and hope for a quick recovery of the injury.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi immediately shortened his official visit to Saudi Arabia and returned to India on Tuesday in response to the attack. After the Prime Minister landed in Delhi on Wednesday, he held a high-level security meeting with National Security Adviser (NSA) Ajit Doval and other key officials to review the situation.

Home Minister Amit Shah rushed to Jamu and Kashmir to assess the local situation and ensure appropriate safety measures and support for those affected.

The attack sparked international anger and grief and once again raised concerns about the ongoing threat of terrorism in the region.
