Hyderabad: The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught here on Wednesday the Assistant Engineer (operating) Kondaiah of Telangana Southern Power Distriblion Company Limited (TGSPDCL) in Ghanpur Mandal, Wanaparthy, who requested and accepted a bribe of Rs 10,000.
ACB officials said Kondaiah asked for bribes to show official favor in connection with the power given to the distribution transformer (DTR), a project established at Tirumala Agro Industries in Ghanpur Mandal, Wanaparthy.
In another case, Dompla Sridhar Babu is the head of the irrigation department working in the irrigation department and ACB is caught in his office when he requested and accepted a bribe of Rs 20,000.
The bribery was requested by his colleague Mahadesini Suresh, who published a senior assistant in Sulthanabad, who showed formal pamphlets, ready to prepare for the pending HPL Bill in the 88-day complainant.
ACB officials took back the stains of arrested officers from arrested persons in two cases and filed the stains with courts in Nampally and Karimnagar, respectively. The defendant was later sent to judicial custody.
For safety reasons, details of the two complainants were detained.
