Vaibhav Suryavanshi hits fastest IPL Century with just 35 goals in RR vs. GT match

The 14-year-old also became the youngest batsman with 50 points in IPL history.

14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi slammed a stunning IPL century in just 35 goals in his RR vs. GT match on Monday. Earlier, Suryavanshi recorded history as the youngest batsman of all time, scoring 50 in Indian Premier League (IPL) history. He also scored the fastest 50 points of the 2025 season so far. The young batsman has become the youngest player, and he scored a T20 100 and is also the fastest IPL for the Indians one hundred. His century is also the second fastest one hundred in IPL history, second only to Chris Gayle. Earlier in the game, he scored half a century in just 17 goals.

Suryavanshi himself only participates in IPL age, which means he became a recorder before even stepping into the league. He broke his record of captaining in Riyan Parag, breaking the record of the youngest player to get an IPL 50.

Vaibhav’s journey was born on March 27, 2011 in Tajipur village, Bihar, and began at the age of four when his father recognized his passion for the sport. At nine points, Vaibhav joined a cricket academy in Samastipur and later trained under former Ranji cricketer Manish Ojha. By the age of 12, the left-handed batsman announced himself after 400 runs in five games while representing Bihar in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy.
