Foxconn India’s revenue grew by more than $20 billion, with about 80,000 employees

According to reports, on April 29 (PTI), Taiwan’s electronics manufacturing industry’s large Foxconn revenue in India has more than doubled to more than US$20 billion (approximately, the company said it has more than doubled its revenues in India. ₹Sources know that due to the growth in iPhone production, there were 1.7 billion crore rupees in the 2024-25 fiscal year.
The company also learned to increase its total workforce in the country by more than 65% to about 80,000 in fiscal 2025.
“In the fiscal year 2024-25, Foxconn’s revenue in India has more than doubled to more than $20 billion. The number of employees has also exceeded 80,000,” one of the sources said.
The email inquiry sent to Foxconn in this regard did not result in a response.
Trade Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced earlier this month that India’s mobile phone exports have surpassed all-time highs ₹20 billion million in fiscal year 2024-25 ₹150,000.
Sources said that as iPhone manufacturers are reportedly considering making all iPhones sold in the U.S. market, Foxconn is expected to grow in the current fiscal year.
Foxconn is the largest manufacturer of iPhones. The company has already established its second largest factory outside China outside of Devanahalli, near Bangalore, with an investment of US$2.8 billion (approximately ₹250 million).
The facility is expected to create more than 40,000 jobs.
Taiwan’s electronic manufacturing giant is also discussing with the UP government to establish an electronic manufacturing division in Uttar Pradesh, which is also expected to be spread over 300 acres.
In addition to mobile phone manufacturing, Foxconn has also started producing Airpods at its Hyderabad factory to invest $400 million (approximately ₹33.25 million).
Foxconn also established a semiconductor joint venture with HCL Vama Sundari.
The joint venture will initially invest ₹The $370.6 billion in the establishment of an outsourcing semiconductor components and testing (OSAT) facility is expected to create approximately 4,000 jobs.
